Terms of sale and use

Last updated: October 29, 2026

These terms apply when you use templatomato.com or buy a template from us. "We" means the operator of Templatomato. "You" means the person or organization buying or using a template.

1. What you are buying

Each template is a set of digital files (Word, Excel and/or PDF, as listed on its page) delivered by download right after payment. The template page describes its contents, formats and the date it was last reviewed. Templates are delivered as they appear on that page at the time of purchase.

2. Prices, payment and taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars and are charged once, per template. There are no subscriptions. Payment is processed by Stripe; you may be shown and charged an equivalent amount in your own currency, using Stripe's exchange rate at checkout. We never see or store your full card details. Any sales tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.

3. Delivery

After payment you are taken to a download page with a button for each file. Download links are short-lived for security, but reopening your download page creates fresh links for 30 days after purchase. After that, or if anything goes wrong, send us a message and we will email you the files.

4. Your licence

When you buy a template, you may:

You may not resell, sublicense, publish or give away the template itself, in its original or a modified form, as a blank or fill-in template. That includes uploading it to template, document-sharing or marketplace sites. Property managers and other professionals may use a template for the clients they manage directly; buy one copy per management company.

5. Not legal advice

Templates and the information on this site are general information, not legal, accounting or professional advice. Using a template doesn't create a lawyer-client or other professional relationship. Laws change and situations differ. You are responsible for checking that a completed document suits your circumstances and complies with the law and your governing documents (such as bylaws) when you use it. For important or unusual matters, consult a qualified professional.

6. Accuracy

We research every template and show when it was last reviewed. We work to keep templates accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee that a template reflects every change in the law after its review date, or every local variation.

7. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a template or this site is limited to the amount you paid for that template. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability, or any of your rights as a consumer, that can't be excluded or limited under the laws that apply to you. That includes the consumer protection laws of your province, territory or state.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Canadian province where Templatomato is operated and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the place where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live if those laws allow it.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you buy a template applies to that purchase. The date at the top shows the last change.
